Awww, see animals know when something’s wrong with a member of their family. It’s very upsetting to them. Catnip wishes for a speedy recovery!
It’s possible that Josey was concerned. It’s also possible that she was just peeved that she couldn’t get to them and snorfle them. That’s her primary interest–snorfling.
Was Flanny still coming out of the anesthesia there? I wouldn’t care to be snorfled either.
Yes, they were still awfully dopey at that point. And Flannery couldn’t figure out why her paw wouldn’t work right with that bandage on it.
Heehee….Josey speaks Orion. O heard her and the ears went straight up. He makes so much noise, most of it just like Josey’s!
A lot of the play pics you’ve posted of Onion remind me of Josey–the same goofy long-limbed floppity stuff. So it doesn’t surprise me that they have the same conversational habits. Does he squeak a lot when he first wakes up?
He squeaks when he’s really excited…or even whistles….through his nose. Waking up when I have to send him outside at 5 am involves lots of moaning and groaning and stretching.
If he wakes up on his own he’s pretty quiet…unless he wants out of his crate..then it’s the whining.
D’oh! I meant to say that the incision doesn’t look bad. Some animals…lots, in fact, get lumps all over as they get older. I’m glad it wasn’t anything serroious //jeeezis now I’m trying to see around Stringbean’s butt.
I suppose I could fill up his food dish and get rid of him!
Here comes Orion to snorfle him. That will do the trick!
HA! Dog snorfling is singularly effective at silencing pesky cats. And yes, boxers are very prone to old lady lumps here and there. Flanny’s has been there for almost 3 years. Vet felt it was best to take it off, make sure it was benign, and be done with.
