Flanny definitely has the gift of glare. The pineapple is funny to me, too. When we lived in Tampa, we had the living room decorated in elephants with various gold detailing, but somewhere along the way, my sister got the idea that I had pineapples in my living room. So she saw this gold pineapple pillow on sale somewhere and thought, ‘What a perfect gift!’ When I opened the box and pulled that out, I just could not wrap my brain around it, but I obligingly added it to the decor. Later, Sloth visited and said, “Oh, you don’t have any pineapples in your decor.” Nope.
Yes, when the breeder sent us those pics, we were like, “OMG!! We want them NAO!” Of course, they were still unspeakably cute when we got them. But I still wish I’d gotten to hold them in their blind naked mole rat days.
